Christmas drinks for NPF

Hey everyone!
The silly season has officially started so I thought I'd send this out early and book you all in! Christmas parties are rife at the mo, so we thought why not have our own party to end the year!
There won't be a jolly man in a red suit (unless one of you feels up to the challenge) but there will be a bar tab and platters!
Location: The Living Room
Where: 106 Ponsonby Road, general bar area /special deck area
When: From 6.30pm this Friday
Why: Free booze/hanging with mates/it's Christmas - what else could you ask for?! (that's a rhetorical question!)
Pass this on, we need a show of numbers so more bars approach us next year!;-)
If we don't see you have an awesome Christmas and NY and we'll see you at NPF next year!

Some time off...

Hey NFPers!
Thanks to everyone that came to Aveia, was great to see some new faces and cheers to Mark and his team for supplying us with amazing food and lots of booze! Great venue if anyone is thinking of going.
We're taking the week off this Friday for U2 (woohoo)!!! Never fear, we'll be back with a last Christmas NPF for the year soon!
Hope ya'll have a great weekend, we're on text now (check out the website www.newpubfridays.blogspot.com for details), I'll put the photos from last week up tomorrow.

One of the last NPF

Hey Guys & Gals!
That's right, it's getting to that crazy time of the year and all the Christmas parties have started!! I missed last week's instalment but I hear it went off at Squid Row with wicked food! Cheers to Squid Row for putting up with us! :-)
This week we're going to hit Aveia Gallery (cnr Customs & Commerce St, Britomart) - a new pub suggested by Geoff & Beau (must be good). Geoff knows the owner so we're working on a deal...excellent! Link is below, this place is meant to awesome so let's get amongst it! Keen as to make this a big one as next week is U2 then it's December! Crazy!

Calamari anyone?

Fulfil those cravings this week cause NPF is going to Squid Row!
"Where is this place?", I hear you ask. It's at 224 Symonds Street, the top end. We have another $100 bar tab thanks to Emma! With snacks and a reserved area...woohoo! Check out www.squidrow.co.nz. It's an awesome newish pub, that some of you suggested (Claydog, Cam & Julz...nice work)! Any more suggestions put them on the site or hit one of us up on the night.
Last week at the Kingi was awesome, cheers to Marty for sorting out a deal for us. Some regulars went dancin' till the wee hours of the morning while others stayed on the Kingi and watched some drunken debauchery...not from any of us of course! ;-) Evidence on the site.
The last bar tab went a surprisingly long way so turn up early to get in on the deal. We'll be there from about (this is a very rough estimation) say 6.30ish.
Again, pass this on to anyone I've missed, don't want to leave anyone out!

NPF Goes Mobile!!

Just in case you get to Friday and forget where we are meeting up, or just haven't managed to check your emails, or the site, we have the answer!!

NPF has gone mobile! Yes, all you need to do is text 'newpubfridays NPF' to 4664 (it will still cost you for the text...) and you will get the details sent back to you.

Now you never have an excuse for missing a NPF event... We'll unless you're running and half marathon, out of the country etc!!
